Second Invention.

-John Kay invented a flying shuttle made of wood that sped back and forth on wheels which the yarn attached to.  This invention did twice the work a weaver could do in one day.   John Kay's invention spurred the inventions of a new and improved spinning wheel thanks to the help of James Hargreaves, Richard Arkwright, and Samuel Crompton.
